Jake & Nick O'Neil visit victory lane at Vado and Tucson
Both Jake and Nick were in action over the weekend and both drivers visited victory lane at their respective tracks.
Nick was in action at the Tucson Speedway in Tucson, AZ in his #88N Modified and after qualifying second overall, he raced from the outside of the front row of his heat race to the win and then rolled off from the 7th starting spot in the night's feature, he rolled forward and raced to his third straight victory, topping the field by 1.134 seconds in the 35-lap feature race.
Jake made the trip over to the Vado Speedway Park in Vado, NM on Saturday night as well and raced to a clean sweep of the night in his #0 USRA Modified. He raced from 7th up to win his heat race and then after starting outside of the fourth row in the night's 25-lap feature race, he raced quickly into the top five and then made his way to the front and raced away to the victory.
Jake then made his way to the RPM Speedway in Crandall, TX on Sunday night and hopped into a Texas General Mechanical LLC #98 Modified, but after a fourth place run in his heat race, he fell out of the feature, ending his night early.
