Top 5 Finish at Kennedale Speedway Park

On Friday evening Jeff Taylor visited Monarch Motor Speedway (Wichita Falls, Texas) powering his Shaw Race Cars No. 5 IMCA Modified for the Modified portion of the Lone Star Stock Car Tour. Gaining two spots in his heat race, Taylor recorded a 5th place finish, transferring him into the B-Main. Coming in 3rd, Jeff locked into the 17th-starting position for the opening night feature. Breaking into the Top-10, Taylor passed ten cars in the 30-lapper to place 7th.

The following night at Kennedale Speedway Park (Kennedale, Texas), Jeff jumped up two spots in his heat to pick up the 8-lap victory. Earning the 11th-starting position for the A-Main, Taylor passed seven cars to register a 4th place finish behind Philip Houston, Glen Hibbard, and Clay Money with Matt Martin coming in 5th.
