Runner-up Finish in Southern Stampede Opener

Thursday night saw Jeff Taylor return to action at Southern Oklahoma Speedway (Ardmore, Oklahoma) competing in a field of 30 Modifieds for the annual IMCA Southern Stampede. Gaining two spots in his heat, Taylor streaked to a heat race victory which positioned him fifth on the starting grid for the opening night feature. Passing three cars, Jeff notched a runner-up finish behind Justin Whitehead with R.C. Whitwell, Tyler Stevens, and Jared Hoefelman rounding out the Top-5.

Friday and Saturday night's program fell victim to Mother Nature.
