Pair of Top-10 finishes with Iron-Man Series at Duck River and TST

Earning the third-starting position for the $5,000-to-win A-Main via his qualifying effort, Roland faded one spot in the 40-lap affair to register a fourth-place finish. He followed Sam Seawright, Michael Chilton, and Eli Beets to the checkers with Josh Putnam coming in fifth.

For the annual Governor’s Cup on Saturday at Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Ala.), Will topped the 38-car field in time trials before placing first in his heat. With $10,000 on the line in the feature, Roland recorded a seventh-place finish in the 50-lap affair.
