Kosiski DNF’s at Marshalltown

Friday night Andrew Kosiski and Team 53 made the trip to the Marshalltown Speedway for the season opening Hoker Trucking LLC Super Late Model Series event for 2021. After struggling the entire night, AK retired early from the feature event finishing in the 17th position.

Qualifying time trials seen Andrew time in 6th quick in group B lining him up outside row two of the fourth and final heat race. Slipping up the track in turn one and two caused Kosiski to lose his momentum and putting him into a three wide situation in turns three and four. Getting the short end of the stick, Andrew almost lost control of his No. 53 causing him to lose time to pack and ending up 6th in the race.

Starting 19th and struggling with forward traction, Kosiski completed 13 laps before retiring from the event where he was credited with a 17th place finish.
