By Fully Injected Motorsports:

VINCENTOWN, N.J. (April 18, 2022) - Continuing his run of top-notch performances in Juniata County, Vincentown, New Jersey’s Justin Whittall found the top-ten yet again at the Port Royal Speedway “Speed Palace,” this time finishing eighth at the Central Pennsylvania staple on Saturday, April 16. Lining up 13th on the feature grid, Whittall, a former winner in Posse Country, made most of his progress late, utilizing the last few circuits to climb well within the top-ten.

One night prior, Whittall, driver of the JW Motorsports, JG Kronenberger Fine Jewelry, Mid-Atlantic Transport, Pioneer Auto Body, Worldwide Bearings, Enterprise, No. 67 sprint car, finished 14th at Williams Grove Speedway, advancing five spots after starting 19th on the feature grid. In total, Whittall advanced ten feature positions over the course of the weekend, a perfect momentum kick with a full slate planned for the coming week. Whittall’s agenda includes a pair of All Star Circuit of Champions starts at The Grove and Port Royal.

“It feels good to be competitive week in and week out. I have a great, hard working team and I owe all of our progress to them. The first win is always the toughest, but I think if we keep doing what we have been, it will come soon,” Whittall explained, who finished as high as fourth this season at the Port Royal Speed Palace. “We have a pretty big week ahead, including a visit to Bridgeport which is basically right down the street from our shop. I’m excited to get going.”
