Justin Whittall ends career year with Port Royal’s Nittany Showdown
By Fully Injected Motorsports:
VINCENTOWN, N.J. (October 28, 2019) – Justin Whittall’s 2019 season is officially in the books, and what a season it was.
Although ending the year with a C-Main appearance during Port Royal Speedway’s Nittany Showdown featuring the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series, Whittall, driver of the JW Motorsports/Atlantic Utility Trailer/Brotherton Brewing Company/Pioneer Auto Body/Worldwide Bearings/No. 67 sprint car, put together a career year in 2019, highlighting all performances with multiple top-ten finishes during action at Port Royal Speedway, BAPS Motor Speedway and the ‘Fabulous’ Lincoln Speedway, all of which are headquartered in very competitive ‘Posse Country.’
Port Royal Speedway was especially kind to the New Jersey-native. A runner-up performance on June 15 led the way, flanked by three other top-ten appearances on May 11, July 20 and August 24.
“We would have liked to finish a little better on Friday against the World of Outlaws, but that was a tough field, probably the toughest you could find anywhere,” Justin Whittall said, a high school graduate earlier this year. “It was a fun year. We earned a lot of great results and that makes us motivated for next year. I can’t thank my partners enough for their hard work this season. They are the real reason we are able to do this.”
Whittall’s top-ten performances at BAPS Motor Speedway and Lincoln Speedway were each tenth place outcomes.
Justin Whittall and JW Motorsports will begin preparations for next season immediately. A 2020 plan of attack will be released in the coming months.
