Pair of fourth-place finishes with World of Outlaws at Atomic

A doubleheader weekend with the World of Outlaws (WoO) Case Late Model Series brought Nick Hoffman to Atomic Speedway (Chillicothe, Ohio) on Friday evening for the two-day Fireball 50.

With 31 Late Models in the pit area, Hoffman advanced into Friday’s opener with a heat race victory. Chasing a $10,000 preliminary payday, Nick steered to a consistent fourth-place finish.

On Saturday, Nick was forced to take a provisional into the $15,000-to-win Fireball 50 finale after breaking a driveshaft while leading his heat race. Starting in 22nd, Hoffman advanced through the field 18 positions in the 50-lap affair to register a fourth-place finish. He chased Ryan Gustin, Bobby Pierce, and Brian Shirley to the checkers with Adam Stricker coming in fifth.

Nick is currently tied for second with Bobby Pierce in the latest World of Outlaws point standings.
