Nick Hoffman to Team with Tye Twarog for 2023 WoO Campaign

Mooresville, North Carolina (12/09/22) – Nick Hoffman is excited to announce that for the 2023 campaign he’ll be pursuing the World of Outlaws (WoO) Case Late Model Series championship as well as the Rookie of the Year title aboard the Tye Twarog Racing / NOS Energy Drink No. 9 C&W Trucking / Longhorn Chassis / Clements Racing Engine Super Late Model.

“I am very excited to partner with Tye (Twarog) for what will be a dream opportunity for me to compete full time on a national level Super Late Model Series,” Hoffman said. “His team has had a tremendous amount of success over the past couple years with Devin (Moran) behind the wheel, and I am honored to be chosen to drive the No. 9 car. I can’t wait to get the season started next month at Volusia (Speedway Park).

“I love Modified racing and will continue to enter Modified races as my schedule allows, but I’m looking forward to going full time Super Late Model racing. I’ve made several starts over the past few years, but with this opportunity with Tye Twarog Racing, I can focus on doing what it takes to be successful at this level.”

Nick continues to be on the recovery from the injuries he sustained in a traffic accident on September 1. The North Carolina racer says that both he and doctors are pleased with the progression.

“I’ve been going to the doctor every week for scans to monitor the progression of healing of my skull fracture and brain bruising. This week after the latest CT scan doctors told me that everything was healing like they had hoped and planned, so I’ll be good to return to the driver’s seat in January,” Hoffman shared. “I’m definitely ready to put this pause in my racing career behind me and embark on the next era. Again though, I can’t thank everyone enough who have checked on me and supported me during my recovery. The racing family is pretty freaking awesome.”

The 2023 season for Nick and Tye Twarog Racing will begin on January 19-21 during the annual Sunshine Nationals at Volusia Speedway Park (Barberville, Fla.). Thursday and Friday programs are highlighted by $8,000-to-win features, and Saturday’s program is headlined by a $20,000-to-win finale.
