Hickman Racing On Top: Riley and Bryson Hickman visit victory lane at I-75
Joined by two of his sons' Bryson and Drew, Riley Hickman and the Hickman Racing team traveled to I-75 Raceway (Sweetwater, Tenn.) on Saturday as the 3/8-mile oval hosted the first race of the Elite 8 Points Racing Series.
Dominating from the moment he unloaded, Riley backed up the fastest qualifying effort with a flag-to-flag victory in his heat race and the 35-lap feature. Hickman banked his first win of the season and the $3,000 payday ahead of Hayden Cardwell, Tyler Price, Kyle Courtney, and Cade Brookshire.
In another dominant display of driving by a member of the Hickman Racing team on Saturday, Bryson topped the speed charts in B-Sportsman time trials before cruising to the 15-lap A-Main victory.
Drew capped off the evening for Hickman Racing with a top-10 finish in his main event. He started on the third row of the feature via third-place heat finish and went onto place seventh aboard his No. D1 Sportsman entry.
