Hickman Claims First Victory of 2015 at Boyd's

Riley Hickman piloted his #R1 BIF Motorsports/Hickman Manufacturing Company/CVR/Vic Hill Racing Engine Super Late Model to his second straight Cabin Fever 40 victory on Saturday afternoon at Boyd's Speedway (Ringgold, Georgia). DT52Photos.com
The day began with Hickman timing in second overall among a stout field of forty-eight entries during qualifications, sending him to the Dash. He went on to win the Dash, positioning him on the pole for the 40 lap finale with Ray Cook alongside. Riley assumed the point at the drop of the green and led all forty laps for the $3,000 payday and his first victory of the 2015 season.

Hickman had one serious challenge from eventual runner-up Donald McIntosh on the 22nd lap when he slid out of the groove while battling slower traffic. Pierce McCarter, Cory Hedgecock and Jason Hiett rounded out the top five finishers.
