Pair of Podiums for Riley Hickman at Talladega Short Track

Riley Hickman made the trek to Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Alabama) over the weekend for a pair of Super Late Model events at the 1/3 mile oval.
On Friday night a $2,000-to-win, unsanctioned event was contested, and Riley raced his way into the main event via preliminary action before registering a 3rd place finish behind race winner, Tim Busha, and Ronnie Johnson.

Saturday night found the first place prize increased to $4,000-to-win as thirty-six competitors looked to claim the win. Riley set second-fast time in qualifications to earn the 2nd starting spot alongside Randy Weaver. Weaver grabbed the advantage at the drop of the green flag. Hickman chased him the distance before settling for a second place finish.

Overall, it was a strong weekend for Hickman Motorsports.
