Erb follows LOLMDS to Smoky Mountain for doubleheader

Drawing 45 cars for a pair of preliminary features, Erb followed up a sixth-place outing in his heat with a 12th-place finish in the 30-lap prelim.

On Saturday, Tyler missed a transfer spot in his heat race and B-Main, forcing him to use a provisional into the $50,000-to-win Mountain Moonshine Classic. Starting in 23rd, Erb gained four positions in the 60-lap affair to place 19th.

Tyler remains in third in the latest LOLMDS point standings.
