Garrett Alberson scores fourth-place finish in FALS Cup

Saturday night found Garrett Alberson in action at Fairbury Speedway (Fairbury, Ill.) powering his Roemer Machine & Welding No. 59 Late Model for the track’s season opener. Drawing 28 cars, Alberson followed up the fifth fastest time in his group with a runner-up finish in his heat behind Mike Spatola. Starting the $2,500-to-win A-Main in fourth, Garrett clawed forward one spot in the 30-lapper to register a fourth-place finish. He trailed Ryan Unzicker, Mike Spatola, and Jason Feger to the checkers with Eric Smith coming in fifth.
