Riggs Motorsports tackles Gateway Dirt Nationals; Jack Riggs races into Dome finale
Both Jason and Jack Riggs competed in the eighth-annual Gateway Dirt Nationals over the weekend. Jason competed at The Dome at America's Center (St. Louis, Mo.) on Thursday for his preliminary night while Jack raced on Friday night.
Jason was unable to make his prelim feature while Jack grabbed a B-Main victory to start 14th in the $5,000-to-win preliminary before finishing 16th.
On Saturday evening, Jason got caught up in a wreck during his qualifier which ended his night early. Jack started fifth in his qualifier and stormed forward to pick up the last transfer position in second. Jack made the $30,000-to-win finale but unfortunately was the first car off the pace as he finished 20th.
