Illini 100 brings World of Outlaws to Farmer City

Friday night found Ricky Weiss in action at Farmer City Raceway (Farmer City, Ill.) for the two-day Illini 100. In a stout field of 46 World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series entries, Weiss was forced to rely on a provisional into the opening night feature after failing to transfer out of his heat race and B-Main. The following night, Ricky came in 10th in his heat race before placing ninth in his B-Main. Using a provisional into the $20,000-to-win Illini 100, Weiss improved seven spots in the 75-lap affair to record a 17th-place outing

Ricky is currently fifth in the latest World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series point standings.
