K-Rob storms to fourth in Late Model at Florence Speedway

Friday night found Kent Robinson in action in the Open Wheel Modified ranks for the Josh Burton Memorial at Bloomington Speedway (Bloomington, Indiana). Competing in a field of 25 Modifieds in the feature, Robinson was early retiree from the main event.

The following night in his Super Late Model at Florence Speedway (Union, Kentucky), Kent scored a 4th place finish in his heat which positioned him 16th on the starting grid for the $5,000-to-win A-Main. Passing 12 cars in the 50-lap affair, Robinson reeled in a 4th place finish behind Darrell Lanigan, Zack Dohm, and Mike Marlar with Tyler Erb coming in 5th.

Sunday night’s ALMS sanctioned program at Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) was rained out.
