USAC Western Racers To Be Honored at Feb 176th Las Vegas Awards Banquet
USAC WESTERN RACERS TO BE HONORED AT FEBRUARY 16TH LAS VEGAS AWARDS BANQUET

DECEMBER 27, 2018... On Saturday, February 16th, the Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada will host the United States Auto Club’s Western Awards Banquet. Open to all racers, crews, family, friends, and fans, the annual event will celebrate the 2018 season for the CRA Sprint Car, West Coast Sprint Car, SouthWest Sprint Car, Western States Midget, and Western Speed 2 US Midget divisions.
The event will spotlight the top-10 and Rookie of the Year drivers with the CRA Sprint Car, West Coast Sprint Car, SouthWest Sprint Car, and Western States Midget Series. The top-3 drivers in the three Western Speed 2 US Midget divisions will featured along with several honorees for their contribution and dedication to racing.
Cocktails are set to begin at Noon, with lunch at 1:00pm, and the awards ceremony to follow. Tickets are $75 per person and the Awards Banquet order form can be downloaded at www.westcoastsprintcars.com/banquet.pdf. Orders must be received by Monday, February 11th.
Champion drivers being honored include “The Demon” Damion Gardner (CRA Sprint Car), Austin Liggett (West Coast Sprint Car), “Chargin” Charles Davis Jr. (SouthWest Sprint Car), Michael Faccinto (Western States Midget), Adam Lemke (Western Speed 2 US Midget Overall and Western Speed 2 US Pavement Midget), and Tyler Slay (Western Speed 2 US Pavement Midget).
These drivers were also honored at the USAC “Night of Champions” in Indianapolis, Indiana on December 7th.
Drivers that earned Rookie of the Year honors in 2018 are Joel Rayborne (CRA Sprint Car), Britton Bock (West Coast Sprint Car), Tyler Most (SouthWest Sprint Car), and Kyle Beilman (Western States Midget).
