Bagley 6th in CCSDS Arrowhead run
Team 14 and driver Morgan Bagley continued to gain ground on the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) points lead on Saturday with a top-10 finish at Arrowhead Speedway in Colcord, Oklahoma.
After Friday’s slated $5,000-to-win show at Plumerville, Arkansas’ Two Dollar Pistol Motor Speedway was washed out, 25 CCSDS competitors descended on Arrowhead the next night for the Green County Clash paying $5,000 to the victor.
Bagley drove his Billy Bob’s Repair & Tire No. 14M Super Late Model from fourth to second in his heat race, then started the feature from fourth on the grid. He maintained a position near the front throughout the 35-lapper on the 1/3-mile clay oval and finished in the sixth spot.
With Bagley’s strong result and CCSDS championship leader Logan Martin suffering a late flat tire, Bagley is now just 15 points back with five races remaining.
