ASCS Elite Non Wing Release 2022 Lineup And Increased Purse

Bryan Hulbert – DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (January 21, 2022) Releasing a slate of 18 events for the 2022 season, the ASCS Elite Non-Wing Series presented by Abilene Powder Coating will bring its unlimited style of racing to tracks across Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Texas.

Along with the 18-race lineup, the series will also feature a higher nightly payout at $3,000 to win, $200 to start. For two-night events at the same track, the first night’s payout will vary depending on the event and will be published beforehand.

The full payout for single night events is as follows: 1. $3,000; 2. $1,500; 3. $1,000; 4. $700; 5. $600; 6. $500; 7. $450; 8. $425; 9. $400; 10. $375; 11. $350; 12. $325; 13. $300; 14. $275; 15. $265; 16. $255; 17. $245; 18. $230; 19. $220; 20. $200;

Basing 13 events in the “Lone Star State”, the series will cross state lines on four occasions, including the 2022 season-opening double-header at I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Ark.) on Friday, March 4, and Saturday, March 5. Other events outside Texas include Saturday, June 4 at Boothill Speedway (Greenwood, La.), Saturday, July 16 at Super Bee Speedway (Chatham, La.), and Saturday, July 23 at Lawton Speedway (Lawton, Okla.)

Looking at Texas ovals, events are pretty well spread around with 11 ovals hosting the non-wing tour. Tracks with double dates include Devil’s Bowl Speedway on Saturday, June 11, and August 6. Big O Speedway will see action on May 14 and is set to host the season finale on October 1.

Tracks with single appearances on their schedule include Abilene Speedway (April 9), Kennedale Speedway Park (April 23), Texana Raceway (April 29), South Texas Speedway (April 30), Rock Raceway Park (May 7), Texas Motor Speedway Dirt Track (June 3), West Texas Raceway (June 24), Route 66 Motor Speedway (June 25), and Heart O’Texas Speedway (July 22).
