Racing for the Troops

Welcome to Smoke Jr Racing website. I would like to take a minute to introduce my daughter Nicole Mendoza aka Smoke Jr. Nicole has been racing now for four years. Nicole has proven to any one that has seen her race that she belongs in the sport. Nicole has completed three seasons at Cycleland Speedway in Chico, Ca. The first season Nicole finished 10th in points and was given the honor of Most Improved Driver of the year for her division. In the second season Nicole finished the season in third place in the championship. Nicole has also competed at Red Bluff outlaws in Red Bluff, Ca and at Lakeport Kart indoor track where she finished 3rd in the Winter Nationals. Nicole also went to Red Bluff Outlaws on October 25, 2008 and set fast time over racers that have been racing for years at that track. In 2010 Nicole has requested to race for Cancer awareness and would also like to race for our troops around the world. Nicole will now be running the RACINGFORTHETROOPS.COM logo. Racing for the Troops team was organized by the late Stephen Harris which the racing community lost to cancer Febuary 6, 2010. So it will be an honor for Nicole to run the team colors this season since she has chosen to race for troops and for cancer awareness.
