Sanders grabs podium finish at Deer Creek

Rodney Sanders and his No. 20 team were among 30 United States Racing Association (USRA) Modified competitors at Deer Creek Speedway (Spring Valley, Minnesota) on Saturday to participate in the track’s Veterans Night.

After a sixth-to-second run in his heat race on the 3/8-mile oval, Sanders was positioned seventh on the grid for the 25-lap USRA Modified feature.

He climbed four spots to finish third, following Brandon Davis and Josh Angst under the checkered flag. Jake O’Neil and Kyle Kath rounded out the top five.
