POWRi Lonestar 600's Non Wing

Lucas & Rouser North vs South Shootout Champs

The POWRi Lonestar 600's presented by K&K Earthworks pulled into the gates at Superbowl Speedway for the first time in series history. Our friends from the north the USAC NOW600 National Tour joined us for the night.

The two organizations came together for a great night of racing. 45
Non Wing 600's and 17 Restrictor's checked in for the nights events.

First out for the nights heat races boasted 2 Restrictor heat lineups. Daison
Pursley and Caleb Rouser collect heat wins.

Next up was the stacked 6- 600's heats. Heat winners: Jason Tyer, Mike Walling, Karson
Battarbee, Christopher Larson, Jake Lucas and Brady Ross.

The passing points set. A-mains post. Redraw takes place for both 600's & Restrictors. B-features are now on deck.

B-mains, let's roll out. Four complete restarts in & they finally get under way in the 1st B. Top 4 transfer. Karter Battarbee, Taylor Neilson, Chuck Dunlap & Matt McDade. Fill in the first 4 of the 8 spots remaining for the A-feature line up. Second B-main rakes in Colton Corbin, Chase Randall, Isaiah Garcia & Colby Stubblefield. Finishing out the A-feature line up.

Restrictor A-main take to the dirt surface. Caution flies. Back to racing. Caleb Rouser is out front with the lead. Few laps in & the caution returns. Jarret Hjorth finds himself standing at attention. Driver checks out okay. From there Caleb Rouser runs with it like he stole the trophy previously. And never looked back. He parks his #44 ride in victory lane. Picks up his $300 cash, nice trophy & feature winner boards! Caleb, we hope dad got a little reward meal after all that hard work!

600's to the hot grid. Your up boys and girls. Jacob Lucas and Brady Ross lead the pack to the green. Caution flies for a hard hit between Branden Matthews and Chase Randall. Chase was transported via life flight to Dallas Children's hospital. Our continued prayers go out to him. As well as his family. May God heal him and get him back to doing what he loves. Racing. We ask that you all please join us in continued prayers. It is important to remember that the information being spread should come from the family themselves. God Speed Chase! We look forward to seeing your smiling, sweet face super soon! Branden Matthews was very sore and checked out by the track medical staff. Checking out okay. Branden we also pray for you to feel back up to racing soon! After the caution cleared, its was back to racing. Lucas & Ross take to the battlefield. Side by side racing. A little wheel hug & Lucas takes over the lead. From there he never looked back. Jacob Lucas parks his #57 machine right into victory lane. Taking home a giant check, cool trophy, winner boards and that $1,000 cash prize.

Dragon Fly Aviation Hard Charger award goes to Colby Stubblefield. Total cars passed: 14

We'd like to extend huge praise to the Ultrashield POWRi Lonestar 600's fire & safety crew. They worked carefully and quickly to ensure all drivers safety through out the night. We are so very greatful to have these gentlemen as part of us.

All Lonestar Officials- As always, our hats off to you all!
