Hill Eager to Return to Racing With ASCS National Tour in Washington

Inside Line Promotions – SIX NATIONS, Ontario, Canada (June 15, 2021) – Alex Hill is excited to climb back in her sprint car this weekend following a pair of weekends off.
The Hill’s Racing Team driver is looking forward to the first of two racing weekends in Washington with a Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour doubleheader at Grays Harbor Raceway in Elma this Saturday and Sunday during the Fred Brownfield Classic.
“I’m excited to go back to Grays Harbor, especially after not racing for almost three weeks,” she said. “I really like the track and we’ve usually been pretty fast there.
“The last time I was running there I was in the top 10 when my lap belt came undone. They didn’t give me my spot back and I had to restart at the back, so my finish wasn’t near as good as it could’ve been.”
Hill is looking toward better results moving forward than she’s experienced during the first part of the season.
“We’ve had an okay season so far,” she said. “Unfortunately, a lot of our races have been canceled. That didn’t help us when I was adjusting to a new car. And things haven’t gone well our last two racing weekends. But we’re hoping we’ve gotten most of the bad luck out of the way and the next couple of months will go much better.”
Hill will debut a new car this weekend.
“We have a new J&J we’ll be racing for the first time this weekend,” she said. “We’ve changed a few things from our previous car so we’re hoping that will be an improvement.”
