Hill Venturing to Lake Ozark Speedway This Weekend

Inside Line Promotions – SIX NATIONS, Ontario, Canada (March 29, 2021) – Alex Hill is looking forward to returning to the track this weekend.
The Hill’s Racing Team driver plans to compete this Friday and Saturday at Lake Ozark Speedway in Eldon, Mo., with the ASCS Sooner Region and ASCS Warrior Region after taking last weekend off for college exams.
“I’m looking forward to getting back to racing at Lake Ozark,” she said. “I need to get some more laps in our new car since I’ve only raced it once. It drives quite a bit different than my old car, but it’s different in a good way.
“We had an issue with it fitting me at our first race, but we’ve fixed that. Now I just need some time in it to get used to it.”
With no race scheduled with the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour this weekend, Lake Ozark Speedway will hopefully provide a pair of nights of competitive racing along with an added benefit.
“We’re racing at Lake Ozark a couple of weekends later this year with the ASCS National Tour,” she said. “It’s always good to be able to get extra laps in at a track where you’ll be racing at later.”
With Hill unable to race last weekend veteran driver Tim Kaeding was brought in to fill her seat and earn ASCS owner points at a trio of scheduled ASCS National Tour races. When weather washed out all three races, Kaeding and Hill’s Racing Team driver Dylan Westbrook headed to Kennedale Speedway Park in Kennedale, Texas, where the pair battled for the lead before Kaeding scored the victory.
“I was proud of our team with both our cars racing for the win and happy for Tim and my crew for getting the victory,” Hill said.
