Hill Heading into ASCS National Tour Speedweek for First Time in Her Career

Inside Line Promotions – SIX NATIONS, Ontario, Canada (June 6, 2017) – Alex Hill will embark upon her first career Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour Speedweek, which features seven races in nine days throughout Texas, Oklahoma and Missouri.
“I’m pretty excited,” she said. “I think it will be fun going to new tracks and seeing the new challenges. Our goal is to keep the car on all fours and not wreck. We want to run as many laps as we can and gain as much information as we can.”
The Sizzlin’ Summer Speedweek begins this Friday at West Texas Raceway in Lubbock, Texas, before shifting to Route 66 Motor Speedway in Amarillo, Texas, on Saturday. Teams will take two days off before racing continues on June 13 at Devil’s Bowl Speedway in Mesquite, Texas; June 14 at Lawton Speedway in Lawton, Okla.; June 15 at Creek County Speedway in Sapulpa, Okla.; June 16 at Randolph County Raceway in Moberly, Mo.; and June 17 at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Mo.
Most of the tracks will be new for Hill, who is in her first season competing full time on the ASCS National Tour.
“Hot laps is always key at each track,” she said. “Once I know how hard I can run I’m set for the night. It gives me confidence to know how hard I can push and the team knows how they can set the car up.”
Hill has added confidence after earning her first career 360ci winged sprint car victory a couple of weeks ago.
“Racing on the ASCS National Tour has given me a lot of confidence and has taught me a lot,” she said. “This will be a grueling week, but the knowledge that we will gain is priceless.”
