The MWRA Heads To The Valley Saturday!

Grain Valley, MO. This Saturday night June 24th the stars and the cars of the Wholesale Batteries USAC MWRA Sprint Cars series will go to Valley Speedway for the first time this season on “The Road to A Championship” in 2023!

The Grain Valley bullring located just east of KC has conducted the most non winged sprint car events over the last 10 plus seasons in the MO/KAN area, and the MWRA is excited to once again be heading to the Valley!

This season so far 4 different drivers have taken the double checkered flags 1st with the MWRA including Topeka, Kansas, lead foot Wyatt Burks with three wins at I-70, US 36, and last Friday night at Lakeside Speedway. While Lone Jack, Missouri, racer Braydon Cromwell (ECS), Spring Hill, KS, wheelman Chad Goff, (Humboldt), and Ty Hulsey, Owasso, Oklahoma, (81 Speedway), have all celebrated in victory lane as well during the first 6 races.

Meanwhile, the points race for the title has changed hands for the first time all season as the “The Sheriff” Burks driving the Wyatt Burks Racing 11w has taken a slim lead of 10 points over the “The Cowboy” Cromwell running the Braydon Cromwell Racing 4 currently in 2nd.

In third place in points with the MWRA Brad Wyatt of Kearney, MO, continues to impress in the Valor Racing 41, while teammates from Gladstone, MO, Chris Parkinson in his 65, and Chad Winfrey in the 65w both under the Chris Parkinson Racing stable of entries keep working their way to the top of the standings in 4th place, and 5th place respectively. Other drivers leaving their mark in the top 10 so far include Justin Johnson in 6th, Buddy Parker 7th, Chad Goff 8th, Zach Clark 9th, and fresh of his first podium in the series last week at Lakeside, Dakota Earls coming home 10th

Burks has been fantastic in the series winning titles in 2020, and 2022, with the MWRA. While also extending his career leading feature wins total with the series to 13 after his victory at KCK’s Lakeside. However, one place Wyatt hasn’t won at in the series so far is Valley Speedway. At the Grain Valley dirt track those past victory celebrations involved instead Wesley Smith, winning the HELM MEMORIAL twice in back to back years during the 2020, and 2021 seasons. While last years Helm at Valley in MWRA competition went to Cody Baker, and the other win for this USAC series at Valley went to Xavier Doney also during the 2022 campaign.

Join us this Saturday night at Valley Speedway in Grain Valley, for the Wholesale Batteries USAC MWRA Sprint Cars racing for the 7th time during the 2023 campaign.
