Berry Travels to Clay County

Tom Berry Jr. raced at Clay County Fair Speedway (Spencer, Iowa) on Monday night. A staggering 64 IMCA Stock Car pilots took aim on the $5,000-to-win event, and Tom began his night with a 10th-to-fourth run in his heat race which left him just short of locking into the feature, but a runner-up finish in the B-Main moved him onto the big show.

In the 30 lap feature he passed five competitors to finish 12th.
