Gee, Hagen and Craver Earn First Wins of Season at Billings Motorsports Park as Hample Captures Fourth Triumph

Inside Line Promotions – BILLINGS, Mont. (July 31, 2016) – Skylar Gee captured his first victory of the season at Billings Motorsports Park on Saturday when the ASCS Frontier Region sprint cars visited for the first time this season.

Travis Hagen and Cory Craver were also first time winners with Kelly Hample garnering his track-leading fourth triumph of the year.

Gee charged from seventh to pick up his second ASCS Frontier Region victory of the weekend and extend his lead in the championship standings. Fifth-starting D.J. Brink placed second with David Hoiness third, Kelly Miller fourth and Trever Kirkland fifth.

Hagen maneuvered from fifth to claim a trip to Victory Lane in the modifieds class. Jeremy Meirhofer recorded a runner-up result with Joey Price finishing third, Beau Nave fourth and Darren Schatz fifth.

Craver advanced from eighth to win the street stocks main event. Dwayne Fowler held off points leader Robert Petroff for the second-place finish with Kenneth Hunter rallying from 15th to fourth place and James Garretson rounding out the top five.

Hample scored his fourth trip to the Winner’s Circle this season in the late model division to extend his lead in the championship standings. Kinzer McCord ended second, Rayce McCord third, Rob Odegard fourth and Dan Henrikson fifth.

Billings Motorsports Park returns to action next Saturday when the competition features midwest modifieds, super stocks and street stocks.
