Mack McCarter fifth in weekly event at I-75; Pierce lands Top-10 finish with Southern Nationals
Both McCarter brothers were in action over the weekend. Mack McCarter competed in the weekly 604 division at I-75 Raceway (Sweetwater, Tenn.) on Friday while Pierce McCarter joined the Southern National Series at Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tenn.) on Sunday.
With 26 Late Models checked in on Friday, Mack started ninth in the 30-lap feature and made up four spots to finish inside the Top-5 in fifth.
Laying down the fourth-quickest lap in his qualifying group, Pierce locked himself into the $7,553-to-win feature and scored a Top-10 finish in seventh.
Mack also tagged on the Tuesday night event at I-75 Raceway (Sweetwater, Tenn.) where he would finish fourth in the man event.
