McCarter Brothers Racing score Top-5 finishes at 411

Friday night found Mack McCarter in action at 411 Motor Speedway (Seymour, Tenn.) to kick off the sixth annual Leftover weekend in the Crate Late Model ranks. With his qualifying effort lining him up fourth on the starting grid for the preliminary feature, Mack gained two spots in the 25-lapper to place second. (Josh James Artwork)

On Saturday with Pierce joining his brother to compete with the Valvoline Iron-Man Southern Series, Pierce locked his spot into the $5,000-to-win A-Main with the fastest lap in a field of 40 cars. After setting the pace for the opening 20 circuits, Pierce settled in with a fourth-place finish. He trailed Cory Hedgecock, Jensen Ford, and Dustin Linville across the line with Josh Rice coming in fifth.

Mack timed in eighth-fastest overall in Crate Late Model qualifying before placing fourth in the feature.
