John Duty steers to 5th at Southern Oregon
On Friday, Double Duty Motorsports racer John Duty took on the Coors Light Silver Bullet I-5 Series at Southern Oregon Speedway. Showing speed in the feature, the veteran driver notched a top-five result aboard his Don Frank Floors No. 5 Super Late Model.
To open the evening, Duty qualified eighth out of 17 cars at the 3/8-mile clay oval in White City, Oregon. He went on to finish fourth in his heat, putting him 11th on the grid to begin the 40-lap, $2,000-to-win main event. Duty moved ahead six spots in the race to earn a fifth-place result.
He took the checkered flag behind Bricen James, Joey Tanner, Collen Winebarger and Grey Ferrando.
