Holley Performance Rookie of the Year, Katlynn Leer Returns to the ARCA Truck Series in 2016: But Next up the Chili Bowl

As 2016 has arrived, things are starting to take shape for Katlynn Leer. Katlynn the 2015 ARCA Truck Series Holley Performance Rookie of the year will carry her familiar #77 over to the newly formed Yunker/Leer Motorsports team. In late 2015 Brad Yunker and Joe Leer started putting their heads together to form a 2 truck team for the ARCA Truck Series, to promote driver development and progression through the sport. Katlynn’s 2016 plans are to run a complete truck series schedule along with a few open wheel dirt midget races. She also plans to continue work to gain corporate partners to put together a 6 to 10 race schedule for the ARCA Racing Series.
First up on the schedule is the 30th annual Chili Bowl in Tulsa Oklahoma from January 11th through the 16th in witch Katlynn will compete in a grueling week-long event, competing with over 330 other drivers to gain enough points to lock herself into Saturday nights A main for the final 24 cars. A format and schedule that will test drivers, equipment and teams to its fullest! Alongside Katlynn, as a teammate will be the legendary USAC driver, Kevin Olson piloting the teams’ second entry, along with team mechanics Joe Leer and Brad Yunker keeping up with ever changing track conditions and competition levels.
