MCR Racing expands to 2 car team for 2012
New 2 car team unvailed at
2012 Motorsports show @ Philadelphia Expo Center.
It's been a very busy off season for MCR Racing. The big news is that MCR will be a 2 car team in 2012! We will be fielding a 270 car for Matt and a 600 car for new team driver Todd Hoover. The team will run a full schedule at Trailways Speedway on Saturday nights and will pick and choose other Friday & Sunday races as our time permits. Tenative plans call for Todd to run the 600 Speedweek Series also. We are very excited to have Todd join the team and really expect great things for 2012. The team will stay with our RTS Chassis for the 270 car. Todd will be building our 270 engines for this season so we expect our engines problems will be a thing of the past.
The team will have a 2012 PMP chassis for the 600 car with '05 Kawaski 636 engines being built and maintained by LHS Race engines. We will utilize Guhl injection and Hoosier tires. The team has been very busy getting everything together with the 600 car. The team will be first class as usual with a complete new parts inventory and 2 completely built engines with 2 more on the shelf ready to go to the builder if needed.
The season gets started on March 17th for opening day at Trailways. We hope to see all Matt's & Todd's friends & fans at the track.
Look for a new fresh look to Matt's website in the near future and also visit Todd's new website at www.toddhoover19.com for all the news and action from the 2012 season.
Both cars will be on display at the Dirt Trackin show in York, PA from Jan. 27-29th. They will also be in the Susquhanna Valley Mall show in Selinsgrove, PA Feb.19-25th.
The team will have new T-shirts and Hoodies available in the next few weeks. They will be available at the team trailers and online at both Matt's & Todd's website for purchase. We have contracted with industry leader ASI Racewear for team appearel. www.asiwear.com
As always we thank all Matt's fans and family for their support !!!!!!!!!
