MCR avoids disaster, brings home 2nd place finish

Matt & the team avoided disaster friday night.Matt was leading the heat race at the half way point when we melted a piston and had a DNF. With the race program moving at a quick pace it did not look good to make the repairs in time for the feature race. We need to say "THANK YOU" to Niki Young & Shawn Seifert. Without their help we would not have made the race which would have taken Matt out of the championship hunt.Literally with just minutes to spare we fired the engine and sent Matt out for the feature. Matt drove a great race and brought the car home in 2nd place after starting last. Again "THANK YOU" to Niki & Shawn and congradulations to Cole Young on his 5th win of the year.
