4th place run for Team MCR

Dis-appointing 4th place finish for Matt & the team. Poor officiating from the speedway was a huge factor in the race results. Matt started on the pole for the heat race, as the cars paced under caution to let all the racers get in their starting spots the flagman decided to throw the green flag to start the race. For 2 years the standard was the flagman would give the 1 lap to go sign and turn the yellow caution lights off letting the racers know the race will start the next lap. Neither signal was given yet the officials decided to let the race go instead of a complete restart. As a result Matt did not have any reason to believe that the race would start. Our and others competitors complaints fell on deaf ears. I don't know how anyone could feel good and celebrate a victory under those circumstances. I know we at MCR Racing hold ourselves to a higher standard. We'll go back next week even more focused to win. Thanks to all Matt's fans for their continued support!
