Another PA Speed Week Ends
The Speedway Motors/Champion Racing Oil Central PA Sprint Cars finished out 2013 PA speed Week. with two rain outs and four winners. Tuesday 7/2 was rained out at Grandview Speedway. The series moved to Hagerstown Speedway Wednesday 7/3 where Nascar star Dave Blaney made a rare sprint car appearance and ran off with the victory. Thursday the 4th of July Stevie Smith picked up his first win of the year at Lincoln Speedway. Friday at Williams Grove Speedway Danny Dietrich took his 6th win of the 2013 season. Saturday night 7/6 at Port Royal Speedway Blane Heimbach grabbed the win for his 2nd Port Royal win in a row and 3rd for the year. The final night of Speed Week on Sunday 7/7 at Selinsgrove Speedway was rained out. Greg Hodnett finished up as the 2013 PA Speed Week Champion for the 4th time in his career over Fred Rahmer.
The Speedway Motors/Champion Racing Oil Central PA Sprint Cars continue next weekend with Williams Grove Speedway on Friday July 12th and continuing Saturday 7/13 at Lincoln and Port Royal Speedways.
Fred Rahmer continues to hold the lead in the series points over Brent Marks, and Lance Dewease.
