Jeff Larson, Myrvold and Forsburg Earn First Wins at Jackson Motorplex With Dustin Larson and Lonneman Returning to Victory Lane

Inside Line Promotions – JACKSON, Minn. (Aug. 6, 2016) – A trio of drivers registered their first feature victory of the season at Jackson Motorplex on Saturday when more than 100 bicycles were given away to children during the annual Bike Night.

Jeff Larson, Danny Myrvold and Stephanie Forsburg each earned their first triumph of the season at the half-mile oval while Dustin Larson scored his sixth victory and Chad Lonneman his second win of the year.

Jeff Larson held off three-time feature winner Kelly Shryock to claim the Wilmont Oil IMCA A-Mods main event. Mike Hansen charged from 13th to a third-place result with points leader Don Gerritsen Jr. placing fourth and Justin Anderson fifth.

Myrvold maneuvered from sixth to garner the Bohl’s Small Engine & Marine IMCA Sport Mods win. Dustin Wiederhoeft advanced from 10th to second place, points leader Jason Andrews from 11th to third, Matthew Looft from 12th to fourth and Greg Sidles rounded out the top five.

Forsburg pulled off the upset of the night by unseating Nate Coopman during the Boji Bay Water Park IMCA Sport Compacts feature. Coopman entered the night having won all nine previous races this season and he charged from ninth to the runner-up result, but Forsburg took advantage of the pole position to pick up the victory. A.J. Myott earned a third-place finish with Jay Devries fourth and Scott Espey fifth.

Dustin Larson powered from fifth to capture the After Hours Graphics & Tees IMCA Stock Cars main event. Points leader Luke Sathoff placed second with Jim Larson third, Levi Feltman fourth and Devin Kuehne fifth.

Lonneman charged from 10th to pick up the Minnesota West – Jackson Campus IMCA Hobby Stocks feature. Drew Bargloff outlasted points leader Justin Luinenburg, who started 13th, for the second-place result with Nick Schilling fourth and Chad Krug fifth.

As a reminder, there is no racing at Jackson Motorplex next week. The next event at the track is Aug. 20 and features Wilmont Oil IMCA a mods, Bohl’s Small Engine & Marine IMCA sport mods, Minnesota West – Jackson Campus IMCA hobby stocks, Boji Bay Water Park IMCA sport compacts and After Hours Graphics & Tees IMCA stock cars.
