Beierle Gaining Confidence and Speed at Badlands

Inside Line Promotions – BRANDON, S.D. (June 29, 2016) – Andee Beierle is making big strides in her first year of 360ci sprint racing.
Last Sunday, in just her fifth outing in the BDM Motorsports backed machine, she raced her way into the A Main at Badlands Motor Speedway against some of the toughest weekly competition in the country.
“I know the results don’t show it, but I’m getting more comfortable in the car every night out,” she said. “Everyone on the team can say we’ve improved every single week. You can see it in my lap times. It’s been a huge difference from the first week to this past week. That was our goal this year – to improve each and every week and we’re doing that.
“For the first time this year I raced my way into the feature through the B Main. That is a giant step for this team. It meant the world to me.”
Beierle said her focus isn’t solely on statistics.
“I just turned 21,” she said. “I have so much time to learn and get better and that’s what I’m concentrating on. I want to be comfortable enough so that when I’m up front I can compete and be confident.”
Beierle, who is double majoring in aerospace and chemical engineering, is also excited that her summer school session is nearly complete.
“My college classes limit us right now on running just Sundays,” she said. “But I’m done with school at the end of July and I’m ready to do more racing.”
