Top-5 in Russell Thomas Memorial at Sugar Creek Raceway
On Saturday afternoon, Tyler Millwood traveled to Sugar Creek Raceway (Blue Ridge, Ga.) to compete in the $10,570-to-win Russell Thomas Memorial.
Among 26 Late Models signed in, Millwood stopped the clock third-quickest in qualifying which automatically placed him in the dash, where he would pick up the victory. Rolling off from the pole in the 57-lap main event, Tyler led laps 8-15 before fading backwards to finish fifth in the final running order.
