Contact with wall ends Millwood's trip to Bristol

Friday night saw Tyler Millwood return to action at Bristol Motor Speedway (Bristol, Tenn.) for the inaugural Karl Kustoms Bristol Dirt Nationals. Drawing 55 Late Models for the two-day event, Millwood followed up the seventh-fastest time in his qualifying group with a third-place finish in his heat. Starting the $10,000-to-win opening night feature in ninth, Tyler suffered a flat right-front tire while running in eighth that sent him slamming into the wall.
