New Look, Same Plan; Brent Marks ready for Bad Boy Off Road World Finals

MYERSTOWN, PA (October 24, 2016) – To help add a little extra hype to his upcoming trip south to The Dirt Track at Charlotte near Charlotte, North Carolina, the “Myerstown Missile” Brent Marks will debut a new look and a new number, helping to honor M&M Painting & Construction owner Allen Murray. Murray, one of Marks’ major partners in 2016, as well as a regular competitor in the super late model ranks, will race for the final time of his career during the Bad Boy Off Road World Finals, giving reason for Marks to display his number.
“Allen Murray stepped up to be one of my major partners in 2016. We were thrilled to have him and his company join Brent Marks Racing. We have a long list of dedicated sponsors who help keep this team on the road and we were thrilled to have Allen join that family,” Brent Marks explained. “With him racing for the last time of his career during the World Finals, we decided to race his number. It will be pretty cool to have him with us. It’s going to be an exciting weekend.”
In addition to four victories on the year, Brent Marks will enter World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series/World Finals competition with a recent hard charging performance against the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions during a first ever appearance at the Atomic Speedway in Chillicothe, Ohio. Marks charged from 20th to fourth during the $10,000-to-win, Arctic Cat All Star season finale on October 22nd; surviving a tricky racing surface and 35 laps of green flag competition to secure the Hard Charger award.
“It was a pretty wild night at Atomic Speedway,” Marks explained. “That place is pretty neat. Despite how fast and tricky the surface was, we were able to keep ourselves out of trouble during the A-main and work forward. Sometimes you have to rely on patience to be faster, and with how the track was, that is exactly what we had to do. We are already looking forward to going back.”
