Bogucki Wrapping Up Season This Weekend at Devil’s Bowl Winter Nationals

Inside Line Promotions – MESQUITE, Texas (Oct. 14, 2020) – Scott Bogucki has always enjoyed his visits to Devil’s Bowl Speedway, where he will wrap up the 2020 campaign this weekend.
The SawBlade.com sponsored driver invades the unique half-mile oval on Friday and Saturday during the 47th annual Winter Nationals, which are the final two Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour races of the year.
“It’s a place I always turn up confident that I’ll have speed,” he said. “It took a couple of years. It’s real tricky. It’s one of those places that takes time. Someone asked me, ‘How do you get around there well?’ I said, ‘You race there.’ You need a lot of laps there. It’s a beast of its own.”
Bogucki earned a career-best Ollie’s Bargain Outlet All Star Circuit of Champions result of third during a race at the track earlier this year.
“We hadn’t run the 410 in some time and drove from eighth to third with the All Stars,” he said. “If we could do that we should be able to do that with the 360.”
Bogucki also placed seventh at the track during a pair of ASCS races last year, was victorious at the oval in 2018 – along with a 10th-place showing – and he scored his first-ever top 10 at the track in 2017. He enters this weekend ranked third in the championship standings.
“We need to put in two solid finishes and hopefully wrap up third in the points,” he said. “Given how this year has gone that’d be absolutely a great way to wrap up the year.”
