Inside Line Promotions – OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (May 27, 2017) – Trey Marcham, Jason McDougal and Daison Pursley each recorded their second career Driven Midwest USAC NOW600 National Micro Series presented by MyRacePass victory on Saturday evening at I-44 Riverside Speedway during Round 2 of Sooner 600 Week.

Marcham powered from his 10th starting position to claim the Stock Non-Wing main event win while McDougal maneuvered from fifth to garner the Winged ‘A’ Class triumph. Both scored their first career series win at the same track in April 2014. Meanwhile, Pursley took advantage of the pole position to earn his second Restricted ‘A’ Class victory of the weekend.

The second night of Sooner 600 Week, which features six races co-sanctioned with the Driven Midwest NOW600 Sooner Region in nine nights at four different tracks, showcased 70 entries among the three premier classes.

Marcham methodically worked his way through the field to pick up the Stock Non-Wing A Main win as polesitter Chris Cochran placed second. Daniel Shaffer ended third with Curtis Jones advancing from 15th to fourth. Jerry McGinnis rounded out the top five.

Shaffer, Matt Ward and Derrick McBride were the heat race winners and Curtis Jones won the B Main.

McDougal held off Hank Davis for the trip into the Winner’s Circle in the Winged ‘A’ Class division. Nicholas Howard rallied from ninth to third, Kaylee Bryson from 11th to fourth and Gunner Bowden from 12th to fifth.

Michael Edwards, McDougal and Alison Slaton each scored a heat race triumph with Nathan Rainey claiming the B Main win.

Pursley held off Ryder Laplante, who leads the Restricted ‘A’ Class with four feature wins this season, for the second straight night to extend his lead in the championship standings. Grady Mercer ended third, Preston Scheulen was fourth and Rees Moran charged from 16th to fifth.

Dylan Pendergrass, Ridle Harvey and Caleb Pence garnered heat race victories and Aimery Turner was the B Main winner.

Sooner 600 Week resumes on Wednesday at Caney Valley Speedway in Caney, Kan., before shifting to Creek County Speedway in Sapulpa, Okla., next Thursday. A visit to Red Dirt Raceway in Meeker, Okla., on Friday precedes the finale next Saturday at I-44 Riverside Speedway.
