Logan Martin lands Top-5 with MLRA at Lake Ozark Speedway
Taking advantage of a World of Outlaws off-weekend, Logan Martin made the trek to Lake Ozark Speedway (Eldon, Mo.) on Friday afternoon with the Lucas Oil Midwest Late Model Racing Association (MLRA) for the two-day Battle at the Beach.
Following the fifth-quickest lap in his qualifying group, Logan finished fourth in his heat race which placed him on the seventh-row of the main event. In the $5,000-to-win feature, Martin stormed through the field and passed nine competitors on his way to a Top-5 finish.
With the field elevated to 36 Late Models on Saturday, Martin once again finished fourth in his heat race to start on the seventh row of the 40-lap feature. For the $7,000-to-win main event, Logan survived a drawn-out race to finish just outside the Top-10 in 11th.
