Brock Zearfoss aims big in Kansas doubleheader; Texas, World Finals to conclude season

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

JONESTOWN, Pa. (October 12, 2023) - The 2023 World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series season is quickly coming to a close for Brock Zearfoss and Brock Zearfoss Racing, and although the end is in view, there’s still work to be done, immediately setting aim on a pair of stops in America’s Breadbasket, followed by a visit to the Lone Star State.

Zearfoss, ace of the Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill, Heavy Equipment, Loaders & Parts Inc., C&D Rigging Inc., Klick Lewis Cars, J.P. Adamsky Trucking, Milton Hershey School, A. Lane Living, No. 3Z sprint car, will kick-off his coming weekend tomorrow evening, Friday, October 13, with the Kansas Outlaw Klassic at 81 Speedway in Wichita, Kansas. Action will immediately resume Saturday evening, October 14, with Lakeside Speedway’s Micro-Lite Harvest Rumble.

The World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series is certainly no stranger to The Sunflower State, visiting 81 Speedway once already in 2023. The Jason Johnson Classic, honoring former Knoxville Nationals champion Jason Johson, was conducted on April 8. Zearfoss finished 12th in the program, igniting his evening campaign from eighth on the grid.

As noted, once action in Kansas is complete, the “Jonestown Jet” and the rest of the Outlaws will venture further south and visit Devil’s Bowl Speedway in Mesquite, Texas, on Friday and Saturday, October 20-21. The two-day blockbuster, dubbed the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Stampede, will mark the end of the Outlaws’ Midwest visit with only the annual World Finals left on the table.

Brock Zearfoss will roll into the Kansas double ninth in the World of Outlaws driver standings padded by seven top-ten scores.

“It’s tough to think we’re already well into October,” Zearfoss stated. “It’s a bittersweet feeling for the most part. The goal is to roll through Kansas and Texas with successful results and use that momentum to our advantage at the World Finals. Ending the year on positive notes will give us a nice confidence boost heading into the offseason.”

ON DECK:
Brock Zearfoss and Brock Zearfoss Racing will continue their 2023 World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series campaign with a Kansas doubleheader, first stopping at 81 Speedway in Wichita on Friday, October 13, followed by a trip to Kansas City’s Lakeside Speedway for the Micro-Lite Harvest Rumble on Saturday, October 14.
