3rd Place Finish at Path Valley Speedway
The Young Guns 390 Junior Sprints made their Series debut at Path Valley Speedway Park on Saturday August 21st. This was the first time the YG390’s would be competing at the high banked ¼ mile clay oval and the drivers were anxious to get some laps in. Warm-ups showed that the YG390 drivers had no fear in testing the limits and the Heat race would be won by #76 Logan Spahr who dueled with #5 Sean Case. Light rain would move through the area on and off throughout the night, but never hard enough to slow down the action. As the YG390 field took the green flag it was anyone’s race. #76 Logan Spahr, #5 Sean Case and #15H Franklin Heinzmann would race 3-wide for the opening laps of the 15 lap Feature changing positions multiple times during each lap. #18 Jacob Moose would be right behind them watching all the action. #76 Logan Spahr would spin coming out of T2 on lap 9 bringing out the lone caution of the event. On the restart #15H Franklin Heinzmann would stayed glued to the rear bumper of #5 Sean Case and continue to apply the pressure until the checkered flag dropped with #5 Sean Case taking the victory.
