Jones and Pendergrass Cap Driven Midwest NOW600 Series Season With Wins at Wichita Speedway; Shebester and Pursley Crowned Champions

Inside Line Promotions – WICHITA FALLS, Texas (Oct. 29, 2016) – Kyle Jones and Dylan Pendergrass both visited Victory Lane in the Driven Midwest NOW600 National Micro Series presented by MyRacePass on Saturday at Wichita Speedway during the Falls Town Showdown.

Jones started third in his heat race and gained one spot for a second-place finish in the Stock Non-Wing division. After starting the main event in the eighth position, he charged to the front to claim the win – his third of the season.

That tied Jones atop the win’s list with Steven Shebester, who claimed the Stock Non-Wing championship following a runner-up result after starting ninth.

Johnny B., who won a heat race along with Frank Flud, rounded out the podium with John Binz charging from 14th to fourth and Weston Gorham ending fifth.

Pendergrass dominated the Restricted ‘A’ Class division all night to garner his first career Driven Midwest NOW600 Series triumph. He started on the pole of the only heat race and won. He also started on the pole of the feature and was the first to take the checkered flag.

Ryder Laplante recorded a second-place result with Holley Hollan finishing third, JC Haddock fourth and Jacob Satterfield fifth.

Daison Pursley, who placed sixth, topped the Restricted ‘A’ Class championship by only 49 points over Laplante.
