Wings Unlimited Drivers Capture Trio of Speedweek Championships

Inside Line Promotions – BIGLERVILLE, Pa. (July 16, 2014) – Wings Unlimited has been well represented during the start of the summer.

In addition to the dozens of recent victories, a trio of drivers used Wings Unlimited products en route to a Speedweek title.

Lucas Wolfe earned the famed PA Speedweek championship and he guided a 1-2-3 finish in the standings during the premier week of competition.

Jason Barney was consistent throughout the Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints Speedweek to claim the crown.

Derek Hagar won three of the four USCS Speedweek races to capture his first-career Speedweek title.

On top of the Speedweek titles, nearly three dozen drivers recorded at least one feature victory.

410 FEATURE WINNERS –

Lance Dewease advanced from fifth to take the lead on Lap 15 en route to his first win of the season at Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pa., last Saturday.

Chris Myers claimed the Ohio Valley Sprint Car Association event at I-77 Raceway Park in Ripley, W.V., on Friday.

Rod George led the distance to capture his 44th career victory at Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pa., last Friday. He also charged from ninth to pick up a win at Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pa., on June 28.

Brent Marks captured the Jan Opperman Memorial PA Speedweek finale at Selinsgrove Speedway in Selinsgrove, Pa., on July 6.

Wolfe advanced from sixth to claim the PA Speedweek event at Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal, Pa., on July 5.

Jamie Veal earned his first career victory at Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio, on July 5.

Greg Hodnett won back-to-back PA Speedweek events at Grandview Speedway in Bechtelsville, Pa., on July 1 and at Hagerstown Speedway in Hagerstown, Md., the following night to give him 25 career Speedweek triumphs. Hodnett added a win at Port Royal Speedway on May 31.

Kyle Moody captured his first career victory at Lincoln Speedway during the Kevin Gobrecht Memorial to kick off the PA Speedweek on June 28.

Jason Solwold powered to a qualifying night triumph to kick off the Jim Raper Memorial Dirt Cup at Skagit Speedway in Alger, Wash., on June 26.

Dylan Cisney earned his second career win at Port Royal Speedway on June 21.

Robbie Kendall led every lap from the pole to record his first career 410 win at Lincoln Speedway on June 21.

AJ Bruns recorded his second Midwest Open Wheel Association victory of the season on June 20 at Bloomington Speedway in Bloomington, Ind.

Doug Esh took the lead with eight laps remaining en route to the triumph at Port Royal Speedway on June 14.

JJ Grasso captured his first-ever win at Lincoln Speedway on June 7.

Austin Hogue garnered his first career 410 victory at Lincoln Speedway on May 31.

Steve Buckwalter notched a win at Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pa., on May 30.

360/358 FEATURE WINNERS –

Randy Hannagan captured a trio of wins during the past month. Hannagan rallied from seventh to claim the NRA event at Eldora Speedway near Rossburg, Ohio, last Friday. Hannagan also won the SOD/NRA co-sanctioned event at Butler Motor Speedway in Quincy, Pa., on June 14 and he recorded his 16th career win at Limaland Motorsports Park in Lima, Ohio, on June 13.

Barney was victorious at Fulton Speedway in Fulton, N.Y., during the Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints Speedweek event on July 5. He also claimed the Patriot Sprint tour race at Fulton Speedway on June 7.

Kendall earned a pair of victories at Trail-Way Speedway in Hanover, Pa., on July 4 and June 20.

Mark Smith powered to the URC victory at Bedford Speedway in Bedford, Pa., on June 27.

Isaac Sneeringer recorded his first win of the season at Trail-Way Speedway on June 27.

Joe Ramaker won ASCS Frontier Region events at Electric City Speedway in Great Falls, Mont., on June 21 and at Billings Motorsports Park in Billings, Mont., on June 14.

Danny Martin Jr. returned to Top Gun Sprints Victory Lane on June 21 at Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Fla.

Adrian Shaffer scored his ninth career victory at Williams Grove Speedway on June 21.

Jon Agan became the first repeat winner of the season with the Sprint Invaders when he was victorious at Mt. Dew Bloomfield Speedway in Bloomfield, Iowa, on June 20.

Brock Zearfoss took the lead just before the midpoint of the 25-lap feature en route to his first triumph at Selinsgrove Speedway on June 21. Zearfoss also led the distance for the win at Williams Grove Speedway on May 30.

Hagar captured his 10th win of the season on June 14 at East Alabama Motor Speedway in Phenix City, Ala.

Chase Dietz garnered his second career victory at Lincoln Speedway on June 7.

Jeff Rohrbaugh earned his first two-win weekend by leading every lap at Lincoln Speedway on May 31 and at Trail-Way Speedway on May 30.

305/SPORTSMAN WINNERS –

Chad Trout made a last-lap pass on Saturday to garner his third win of the season at Williams Grove Speedway.

Mike Haggenbottom earned back-to-back victories at New Eygpt Speedway in New Egypt, N.J., last Saturday and on July 5.

Mike Wagner II took the lead on Lap 16 and cruised to the victory at Susquehanna Speedway Park in Newberrytown, Pa., on June 21.

Scott Geesey advanced from ninth to win at Williams Grove Speedway on June 21.

Jimmy Morris notched the triumph at Mercer Raceway Park on June 21 after starting third.

Bobby Hockenberry led the distance at Williams Grove Speedway to pick up the win on June 7.
