Fuel issues surface in season opener at I-30

The 2022 season got underway for Billy Moyer Jr. on Saturday afternoon at I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Ark.) aboard his Nutrien Ag Solutions No. 21 Late Model for the Will McGary Memorial. In a field of 29 Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) entries, Billy edged his way into the $5,000-to-win A-Main with the fifth-and-final transfer spot in his heat. Starting in 16th, Moyer Jr. was an early retiree from the 40-lap affair due to fuel issues.
